750,000 air miles, 9 promotions, 15 bosses, and 11 places called “home.”  This is the typical story of most of our clients. It’s a story of change, uncertainty, growth, and opportunity.

Some might call me a change junkie. As a kid, I was probably the only 10-year-old to check out “I’m Okay, You’re Okay” from the library – multiple times.  I’ve always been interested in what makes people tick. Why do some people get along with just about everyone while others seem to be constantly itching for a fight? Why do some people embrace change while others avoid it like the plague? I’ve always had a love affair and fascination with people and change.

I’ve been there and lived to tell the tale.  I traveled the world working in everything from advertising and hospitality to operations and IT.  As a corporate leader I led change and had change done to me and that was usually pretty stinky. I learned a lot about what works and what doesn’t. I’ve hired change management consultants and I’ve been that consultant.  I don’t just talk the talk. I’ve walked the walk and will stand beside you for your change journey.

When the chips were down, I got curious. A few years ago I had a significant transition to pull off in a short amount of time to start up a new organization for my employer. So I got curious. I learned about change from legendary masters like William Bridges and John Kotter and I didn’t just stop there.  I also learned about change from modern masters like Deepak Chopra, Tony Robbins, neuroscientists, and hours of Ted talks.  As a result, I’ve developed a comprehensive model of change management that engages the mental, emotional, and somatic aspects of change and allows groups to move through transitions more quickly, with greater ease, better results, and wellbeing.

Change is disruptive by design. Sometimes, you have to stir things up for a new possibility. Change can be hard, but it doesn’t have to be. Whether it’s a reorganization, capability change, leadership transition, or that marvelous thing called growth, I can help. I have the experience, tools, and training to guide teams through transition faster with less stress, more resilience, and better results.

There’s a new awakening in the world of business. Those who can handle change with grace, speed, and agility not only win, they also become the best places to work. I have extensive experience with some of the best places to work like Nike, State of Oregon, BP, State of California, Universal Studios, and more.
